Thank you so much The American Poetry Review for publishing my poem “Vigil.” So honored and happy to be on this issue, full of amazing work, including by some poets I know and love.

As if this were not already great, one of the poets included is Matthew Lippman who is not only an amazing poet but also my first poetry teacher (a fantastic one). APR was also my very first poetry publication. It also includes  Asa L. Drake ‘s review of  Sokunthary Svay ‘s work (I was super lucky to get to be together with these amazing humans during Natalie Diaz’s workshop at Tin House this Summer). So this is lovely all around.
