Writing back from New York (and back at work), I can’t believe that a little under a week ago I was on vacation, in France, seeing Elisa (my little girlita) and Nico getting married! I photographed their engagement session, but I attended their wedding as a guest (these are my guest photos, but the wedding was photographed by the amazing Nans – you can see him in one of the pictures and  his beautiful work here). I was a little excited for attending a wedding without carrying at least two camera bodies, several flashes, a quadra kit, light stands, several lenses (and back up), reflectors, a photo back up device and one or two assistants with me. Little did I know that that stuff was replaced by diapers, diaper cream, a varied menu of baby food, extra clothes, bibs, a portable crib, a carrier and, luckly (for me and for my assistants), a husband instead of an assistant (it was the first wedding I attended with my little guy). Fortunately, my hopes to travel light were a very small part of why I was excited… I was so very happy to be able to see two of my favorite people, who love each other so much getting married. It was such a beautiful, happy day…  The ceremony took place at the beautiful Tourny (Normandy) church and the reception (and brunch the next day!)  at the amazing space,  La Grange de Bourgout. Elisa and Nico were gorgeous and it was happiness and love all around. A perfect celebration of these two amazing people and their love. Elisa and Nico, having witnessed story as you met and fell in love, it was so wonderful to be able to be with you in such a special moment in your lives. Thank you so much for having us there.
