Today is a very special day for me and for the two wonderful people featured on this shoot. Elisa and Nico met and fell in love in Los Angeles. After a few months together, Nico had to go back to France (where they are both from). That was the beginning of a few long periods where the two of them had to be apart. Nico moved to two countries before he finally could move back to Los Angeles… but then Elisa got a position in New York City. Their love stayed strong throughout. Now they are finally together and are getting married… today! (Having witnessed their whole story and loving these guys to death, I am packing a lot of tissues!)

For their engagement shoot, I wanted something beautiful, sunny and happy, just like them. I also thought it would be nice to be inspired by their staying put, despite the miles of Ocean between them. Nico spent some time in the area near Manor Park in Larchmont County as a child, and it is beautiful and by the water, so it was the perfect spot (thank you Sophie for  the lovely idea)… So here are the results.
